I must admit that the current heatwave doesn't really suit me and not much crafting has been done so here's a card to share today which was made a while ago but didn't make it onto my blog at the time The brick wall effect was stencilled the the window and word die cut.
Window and Greeting - dies from Gummiapan
Bricks - stencil cut using a Greetery die (courtesy of a friend)
Very effective use of the stencil and dies Val. Yes is a tad warm for crafting.

This reminds me of days gone by when folks chatted with one another from their open windows! Great stenciling! Stay cool, our heat wave is supposed to break within the next few days.
ReplyDeleteI totally adore this card Val! Little smile here as I think you already know that. Love the shuttered window and the way you worked with those stencil is perfection! I've been wondering how you're coping with the heat - too much of a good thing ain't good in the end! Dudley is suffering and of course, although he tries to find cool places, he gets restless and wants to see what he might be missing! Tip from my Mum dating back to her/our years in the Far East. Hold the insides of your wrists under a running cold tap for instant refreshment. It does work but unfortunately isn't long lasting. Hugs, Di xx
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! I absolutely LOVE this CAS card. The Greetery bricks show off the Gummiapan window perfectly. Dammit I might have to go shopping now!!! Window shopping! 🤣
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the small thumbnail on my reading list I felt sure it was going to be bunny looking out that window lol! Maybe an idea for next time? This looks so lovely and the brick work is a great touch.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of your stencil Val, lovely card
