Mischievous Mice

The card I'm sharing today is one sent recently to a lovely online friend who occasionally has mischievous creatures on her keyboard making typos - I'm not mentioning any names as that would be unkind but thankfully she saw the joke!!  There seems to be no end to the lovely images around of these sweet House Mouse characters - something for every occasion I'd say.  A Fiskars border punch and some card candy were used.

Get Funky Monthly challenge

The monthly Get funky Challenge is all about hearts and I've used papers and a digi image from their Craft The Year Away CD.  The background papers came from the CD and were printed on  pearlised paper; the text used the Hobo font. The colours made me think of chocolate so I added wording to the heart and used some card candy in matching colours to finish the card. The sentiment was cut out with a Nestabilities die.

Greenhouse Garden

I've been playing with my Stampin Up Greenhouse Garden stamps again - well it is raining far too hard to go into the real garden!! These are two-part stamps where one layer is over stamped onto another. The background panel was done using Distress Ink pads and the top layer stamp of one of the flowers. Smaller flowers were stamped , cut out and layered up with leaves (cut out from a larger stamp of a horse chestnut leaf by Personal Impressions). Paper, ribbon and card are from SU - plum, celery and a light blue.
