The challenge this week over at Bah Humbug is embossing and the main decision to make was which type of embossing to use. I eventually settled on spraying some card with Glimmer Mist and then embossing in the Big Shot using Cuttlebug snowflakes folder and using a Crafts Too embossing folder for the greeting. I resorted to using my favourite snowman stamp (Funstamps), some background paper from my stash and a few die cut snowflakes using a Cuttlebug die and glitter card.

Bah Humbug Week 3

The challenge for week 3 at Bah Humbug is glitter and my card has quite a bit on it although it doesn't show up too well on the scan because it is ultrafine glitter which I prefer. Background paper is Papermania from a couple of years ago, the snowman is a stamp from Funstamps and his hat and scarf are decoupaged. I stamped the snowman, cut him out and ran him through a Xyron machine and then put crystal ultrafine glitter onto the sticky surface. Some glitter paper snowflakes were added and a matching greeting which has been mounted onto a Nellie die cut - the centres of the tiny printed snowflakes on the background also had glitter added with a quickie glue pen dot.

Three Jolly Snowmen

Actually it is only one jolly snowman stamped three times using a post-it note mask!! Coloured with Sakura Stardust pens, a bit of fine glitter added and the sky was stippled with Brilliance ink, which was also used to stamp the random snowflakes. Snowman is from Funstamps (I've had him for several years and he is so useful), snowflakes are from a clear set by Craftwork Cards and the printed ribbon strip is by Polkadoodles, background paper is some left over from last year's Christmas purchases. The greeting is computer generated and popped onto an ever popular Stampin Up ovals punch piece.
