The challenge for week 3 at Bah Humbug is glitter and my card has quite a bit on it although it doesn't show up too well on the scan because it is ultrafine glitter which I prefer. Background paper is Papermania from a couple of years ago, the snowman is a stamp from Funstamps and his hat and scarf are decoupaged. I stamped the snowman, cut him out and ran him through a Xyron machine and then put crystal ultrafine glitter onto the sticky surface. Some glitter paper snowflakes were added and a matching greeting which has been mounted onto a Nellie die cut - the centres of the tiny printed snowflakes on the background also had glitter added with a quickie glue pen dot.
This little snowman is one of my favourites such a happy looking little man. Gosh all these challenges are certainly keeping us busy..lOl.

yeah this snowman is one of my favourites too - he never dates and always looks classy. I love your card and wow you sure got into the glitter. Hope it didn't get into toooooooo many places it shouldn't have. Thanks for joining in again at Bah! Humbug! - great to have you.

I love your card, especially the little snowman, he is so cute, I like how you have decoupaged his had and scarf. I agree glitter does not show up well in photographs, this happened to my card.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support and joining in again at our challange, also displaying our Bah!Humbug Loyalty Badge.

Love the card. The little snowman is a happy chappy and the background paper is great especially with your little glittery additions.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a glitter lover but I do like the ultra fine because of it's subtlety.

He is really cute'n'sparkly. You see it better when you click on the picture to enlarge it. Your background paper and the sparkly snowflakes really complement him too.
ReplyDeleteWish I could've found my ultrafine stuff but it's obviously in a different hidey hole from the gritty stuff.
Thanks for joining in at Bah! Humbug! - we are having such a blast seeing how enthusiastic everyone is.
