Tall Trees

A card to share today which I made a little while ago using some patterned paper which was left from another project and a stamped image with an added sentiment, lined up using the Misti of course.  We've had a couple of very grey days here but today there is blue sky and sunshine which certainly lifts the mood even if it is still a bit on the chilly side. I can  hardly believe it is almost the weekend again - the weeks do seem to come around quickly despite everything.

More Fun Snails

I've enjoyed my  little play with some of the Snail Mail images and for this tall card I decided to cut out some stamp shaped windows from a piece of white card so that I could do something a bit different with them. A piece of darker card was put behind the window layer before adding the fussy cut images.   Foam pads were used to layer the window layer and the backing to give it some dimension.  No specific sentiment on this one but I'm sure whoever receives it will smile and we don't always have to wait for an occasion to send someone a card 'just because'.

Windows - cut using postage stamp die from Spellbinders
Images - fussy cut from Snail Mail DSP Stampin' Up.
Heart - small heart punch Stampin' Up.

Singalong

The image on this card is one I came across in one of my boxes - part of a sheet which I'd printed from a CD and only used one of them for a card quite a long time ago.  I thought this one  deserved to be used rather than lying unseen in a box so I used a circle  die to cut it out and layered onto a fancy die cut and an embossed square. Finally I added some background paper and a sentiment.
