Bracelets

I've been asked to teach a bead weaving workshop at the end of the month so have been busy making up some samples. Here are some of the spiral rope bracelets with a few variations once students have mastered the basic technique.

Butterfly basket

I spotted this lovely Easter basket here and this is my version which sadly has no eggs yet - just some inedible tissue paper!!

Just To Say...

I got my brayer and Kaleidacolour ink pads out and made this card using stamps from Elusive Images. It never ceases to amaze me how many different ways there are to use stamps - endless possibilities.

Another Nautical Watercolour

I managed to salvage one of my wonky tugboats from the workshop and turn it into a card (always short of cards for men). I used up some of my offcuts of paper which was printed from one of Joanna Sheen's CDs and made a nestabilities frame for the picture, a nestabilities tag and some cuttlebug embossing (also using up some of my offcut stash!)

A Workshop

Yesterday I attended a workshop on watercolour painting for greetings cards. The tutor handed out paper and then the dreaded 'D' word was mentioned! Well, I don't really do drawing so managed to produce wonky tugboats, wobbly beach huts and weird lighthouses (nautical theme going on here). However I did use one of my efforts to produce a card and after all it IS an original signed watercolour!!

I know, I know - I need more practice but it was fun and I do enjoy a challenge. I think maybe I should stick to stamped images because then at least an expert has done the original drawing.
