Bah Humbug Challenge 4
The challenge this week at Bah Humbug is baubles and here is a quick card using Klimt bauble stamps from Elusive Images, stamped and gold embossed onto some pieces of glimmer misted card from my oddments box with the addition of some peel off chain and bows (not used any peel-offs for ages); background paper is from Kay and Co.
Perfect Pearls
After watching a short demo on TV earlier this week I got out my Perfect Pearls, Nestabilities dies and Cuttlebug embossing folders to make this card. The background paper from Artylicious has been edged with gold pen and stamped with a swirly stamp by Elusive Images. Black card was die cut and put through the Big Shot in an embossing folder which had been swiped with Versamark - the mica powder was then quickly brushed onto the shapes before the ink dried. Mirri card and some leaves and flowers were added to complete this card.

Back to Pink
I seem to have come back to pink again for these layered flowers which are from Polkadoodles. The largest one has been coloured with Shimmerz and glitter added to the dots on the darker pink one. Background papers from Polkadoodles and Papermania and the square gems and greeting are also from Papermania

Ultra Thick Embossing
This is a techniqure I've not done for ages - so many techniques and so few hours in the day!!! The stamp is from Paper Artsy stamped with Distress ink and smaller embossed panel used UT clear embossing with a final layer of normal gold powder onto an offcut of mountboard using part of the same stamp while the top layer was still hot. Edges were sponged with Distress inks using cut and dry foam. I needed some more cards for men so thought this would fit the bill nicely.

Bluebirds
These bluebirds were a free download from Pollycraft and I thought they would make a cheerful get well card. Image was coloured with Copics, faux stitching was done with a fine line pen, greeting produced on the computer and punched with a Stampin Up punch. Border strip used a Fiskars threading water punch and I added gingham ribbon and some card candy to match.

Follow your Heart
I recently purchased this stamp set from stampin Up and realised I'd not had a go with them yet - I'm sure there is lots of mileage in this set but here is my first try. The background stamping is the fern stamp from A Touch of Nature and the sentiment is from a set of free stamps from the Sale-a-bration leaflet.
Sketch Challenge
Polkadoodles challenge 3 this week gave us a sketch to follow and here is my take on it using various Polkadoodles papers and a few bits from my scrap box; the tiny buttons are from Papermania.
