During the week I was trawling through my many A4 boxes of bits and pieces of paper and card searching for a particular colour when I came across a partial sheet of uncoloured digital images. I usually print several to fill a page when I want just one and this sheet had been put away and forgotten so it fits in well with Judith's Forgotten Friday challenge. The image has been coloured with Promarkers and Coloursoft pencils, then cut out with a Nestabilities die. Background paper is from a K & Co pad which has been lying around for a long time together with a scrap from one of the bits boxes. The die cut border, corner and backing for the greeting were cut from scraps of blue card and a matching ribbon bow has been added. The curly strip and corner were cut using a die set from Lea'bilities, the greeting was produced on the computer, punched out and popped onto Cuttlebug die shapes. Three more images left to colour in now and that will be one less piece in my 'bits' collection.

Simply Stampin' Colour Challenge 56
Again I've had to improvise a bit with the colours for this Simply Stampin' Challenge this week (I had the soft suede card).
Background paper is from Stampin' Up and their cupcake stamp set and matching punch have been used along with a Sizzix (SU) tag die and SU punches for the greeting. The pink border is a Martha Stewart punched strip which has been layered onto some soft suede card. The large die cut shape is a Sizzix (SU) topnote die which has been embossed with some gems added.

Froggy Get Well
I decided I needed to make something bright and cheery on this very dark and wet morning - been raining steadily since well before I got up. I know we are supposed to need rain but surely not all at once!!
This frog character is from Docrafts Diggity Dog range. Backing paper is from my stash and I just had to use my first Memory Box die - I've managed to resist buying any of these so far but I must say this one cut beautifully so I may be tempted with more. Most of them are quite finely detailed and I'd imagined they would be difficult to remove from the die but fortunately this wasn't the case - came out so easily.

Make My Monday week 46
The men/boys theme continues at Make My Monday and this week they want to see animals or birds. I've chosen to use a bird postcard stamp from Crafty Individuals. Background paper has been overstamped with a harlequin stamp from Indigo Blu (not much actually shows now I realise) and the strip of paper down the side is a left over scrap of Papermania paper which happens to have part of a bird's wing on it. A Cuttlebug folder has been used on some matching kraft core card which was sanded and inked - bookplate is from a Sizzix die and this has been distressed and partially embossed to age it.
It has been raining steadily here since I got up this morning so what better than stay indoors and design a card. I've also just realised that this stamp has lain unused for many months so this will qualify the card for Judith's Forgotten Friday challenge as well where we are encouraged to use items from the stash which are forgotten or neglected.

Crystal Bracelet
Another quick post today showing a crystal bracelet based on a design shown in a recent issue of Bead magazine. Today started off a touch frosty but with blue sky and sunshine - by lunchtime it had become very dark, rained hard for quite a while and still looks very grey and dismal so indoors seems the best place to be. I hope those who had problems with Blogger have managed to solve them satisfactorily. I had already switched to the new interface when it was offered as an option some while ago and have become used to it.
