Mirror

This card was made to meet a challenge called 'Mirror, Mirror' on Cute Card Thursday blog - to use something shiny on a card. The scalloped circle behind the bird is actually mirror card although it doesn't show up well on a scan. The bird is a free stamp from Craft Stamper, long border is stamped using a Rollagraph wheel and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer yellow blush blaze (also shiny).

Just Magnolia

The third Just Magnolia challenge is another sketch. The cute sheep was stamped with Versamark and embossed with Cosmic shimmer embossing powder, flowers were punched using two sizes of X-cut punch and the scalloped border used a Fiskars punch; ovals cut with nestabilities and the swirl is a cuttlebug die cut.

Donut

I've had this glass donut bead for a while but no means of wearing it so I made a decorated peyote stitch bail from beads and a spiral rope in matching colours which I thought would be nicer than a plain leather thong. The little 'leaves' actually hang down when it is being worn.

Two Challenges

I've managed to make another card which covers two challenges. One is the Tanda Teaser which is to use yellow and blue and the other is the Daisy and Dandelion challenge.

The image is from the new masculine range (Daisy, Dandelion and friends) stamped with Versafine ink and coloured using Polychromos pencils blended with low odour thinners - mounted on Coredinations card with coloured raffia and eyelets set using the Crop A Dile. The finishing touch is a cuttlebug border die cut.

One Card for Two challenges

I seem to be having a busy week so it's a case of one card for two challenges. Cute Card Thursday 'Getting Edgy' to include torn or distressed edges and Just Magnolia 'pink and green'.
