Blue Snowman

I've had another try with my clear snowman stamp with the 'solid' areas using Versafine blue ink and highlighting with blue Stickles and I think has worked OK. Craftymamma kindly suggested that I might try inking the stamp with markers but unfortunately that didn't work because being a clear polymer stamp the markers just 'beaded' on those solid areas and it didn't stamp well but thanks anyway! Another Christmas card ready in good time.

A Girly Card

I've used one of the free fairy stamps which came with the current Papercraft Inspirations magazine to make this girly card. Image coloured with watercolour pencils and fairy dust glitter added to the wings. Daisies and swirls are Sizzix die cuts and I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and Martha Stewart border punch.

Get Well

A bit of a challenge this morning with a request from a friend to make a personalised get well card to cheer up a young man . Stamp is a Papermania one coloured with Copic pens and the background paper is also from papermania with bits from my scrap box.

Cute Snowman

Yesterday I treated myself to a set of clear Christmas stamps by Habico but was a bit disappointed when I came to stamp this cute snowman that the hat, scarf and robin are heavily textured with 'dots' which mean that they come out quite dark when stamped. I'm going to try with different colours of ink but this is my first card using him. The sprig of holly is from the same set and I have added some cuttlebug embossed snowflakes. and a bit of glamour dust.

Christmas

Another Christmas card to add to my pile - using the free Daisy and Dandelion stamp which came with the Creativity magazine. Stamped with latte Adirondack dye ink and coloured with Copic pens. Glitter snow was added to the fur on the hat.
