I've come up with an idea for a card using a couple of the Crazy Cats which I stamped, coloured and fussy cut recently - I still have a couple of dogs ready to go as well when I can think of another layout for them. I used a brick wall embossing folder for a background, adding a window with shutters. Next move was to cut out the large 'happy' word and a smaller 'birthday' - assembled everything and that's it, job done. I do really like these quirky pets 😉
Cats - Tim Holts stamp set mini Crazy Cats and Dogs
Large Word - die from Crafter's Companion
Small Word - Britannia dies
Window and Shutters - Gummiapan dies
Brick Wall - Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up
Who wouldn't love to receive this for their Birthday Val, gives a smile as well.

Fab design and perfect for a cat lover.
ReplyDeleteThose Tim Holtz cats and dogs never go out of style, and this is such a fresh new way to use the kitties! Love that little window on the wall, how clever!
ReplyDeleteA fun birthday card for the cat lover - or any animal lover really! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeleteoh I love this wonderful card and your super design.
That embossing folder used is fabulous and the cats look great against the house you have created.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
These cats and fun and quirky too Val, and love the way you have one standing on the 'H' of Happy and the brick wall with the shuttered window makes a great backdrop. x
