Last Christmas I had some Designer Papers, some of which had several buildings and trees which could be fussy cut to add to cards and I went a bit mad and cut out far more than I could use at the time. However in true 'never waste anything' style I have brought them out of hiding to use on some of this year's cards. For this particular DL card I've used some of the smaller houses as well as a regular sized one in the foreground. The snowy slopes were die cut using a variety of dies and a greeting sticker added to finish off the card even though there isn't much doubt that it is meant for Christmas 😉. There are two more slightly less complicated cards which I will show you in due course and I still have a few stray buildings to be used up.
Snowy Slopes - dies from Crafter's Companion, Stampin' Up and Lawn Fawn
Houses and trees - mostly fussy cut from the Coming Home DSP Stampin' Up (retired)
Sky - scrap of DSP from the same DSP pack
Sentiment - sticker from Clarity sticker book
A fantastic card Val.

ReplyDeleteHi Val
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card ... you have made a lovely scene ... and how lovely that your little houses are sitting there cut out just ready and waiting to be used. I thought they had been stamped, coloured and die cut!
On catch up at this end.
Have been painting walls, gardening and trying to craft .. .. but not much blog visiting done. Why are my days so short?!?!?!?!
Hope all is well with you.
Love Jules xx

ReplyDeleteThis is a great card, well worth all the cutting, even if you did all the hard work last year!
