Temptation is all around us and I have to confess that while shopping for fruit in the supermarket. yesterday I happened to spot a craft magazine with its accompanying free gift which this time is a large square embossing folder with a rose stamp as well as a birthday greeting stamp and two rosebud stamps. I just couldn't pass on that one could I? The rose is easy to colour and it would also be ideal for some paper piecing as it has a reasonably simple outline to cut with scissors. A square of white card was run through the embossing folder and sponged with ink; the rose was coloured using pencils. Two die cut circles and a greeting (not the one in the set as it happens) and we have a quick and easy card.
Oh Val, so funny! This freebie plus magazine also fell into my shopping basket as well the other day - all I went into the supermarket for was a tub of PhiLly cheese! LOVE how you've used it - such a lovely yellow with that pale green.
