Birthday Card for a Friend

Today's card is a large one made for a friend's birthday and luckily I was able to hand it over to her when we met up recently for hot chocolate and a crafty chat - something we try to do now and again at our local craft shop.  Not surprisingly these little outings often result in a bit of retail therapy as well!! Now to the card - the flowers and leaves were stamped and coloured before being cut with their matching dies.  Finally I used a clear Wink of Stella brush pen to give them a little shine. There is quite a bit of die cutting and some embossing involved and I've given details of what I used.

Frame - Noble pierced squares dies by Sue Wilson
Flowers and leaves - Heartfelt Creations Delicate Asters stamps with matching dies
Flowers and Leaves - coloured with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens plus some Wink of Stella clear
Background - Sue Wilson pin dots embossing folder
Central Area - Twisting Veranda dies from Tonic
Greeting - Britannia dies
Delicate leaves - Tattered Lace ivy die
