I'm early this month getting my two alphatags made for the swap and once I'd decided on what to do for the letters they seemed to come together without too much hassle. For this one I used a Tim Holtz distressed/rusted technique for the background then overstamped with stamps by Crafty Individuals and Chocolate Baroque. The various smaller tags were cut using a sizzix die, inked with Distress inks and stamped using various stamps from CB Teeny Tiny collection. The wording was produced on the computer and has been popped behind a bookplate frame which comes with the large tag Sizzix die. A little swallow charm was added and the tags were attached with brads.
WHat a great tag for your letter 'J'....love all the different elements on your tag also your sentiment...this would also look good on a mans card

ooh, great idea there Val! For once, your post hasn't sent me into panic mode, mine are done and photographed, ready to be blogged, and sitting by the envelope as well.........yes, I know, miracles do happen (or guilt actually has an effect, more likely)
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous tag Val, I love the colours and the whole travel feel to it with the mini tags.

Brilliant idea & I'm intrigued by the technique you mention. I love that Swallow charm too & the effect of the brads with the smaller tags. I've still to tackle "K" though I have an idea of what to do.
