First of all may I say welcome to the new guest designers over at Humbug Hall this month - some great cards for inspiration on the 'going green' challenge for this week. We could opt for making a green card as in using the colour, go green as in recycling or use both options which is what I've done. This was a simple card to make really because I cut the image off an old Christmas card from about 8 years ago (why do I hoard so much??); cut the smaller image from the back of the card which I happened to notice as I was putting the remainder of the card into the actual recycling box; used some green backing paper from my stash and simply layered it all together. A really quick and easy option this time and by the way the small squares on the recycled card are gold and shiny although they don't show up too well in the scan.
We hoard because we never know when it will come in handy,or in your case, need it to make a super Christmas card.

love how you used the smaller image - that works really well. I hoard too - must be a 'crafters' thing.
