I've come up with another way of using the stamped daisy image for a fairly CAS card. This time I coloured the image using Zig watercolour pens and then die cut a small circle from a spare flower head and added it spotlight style using foam pads. The card blank has had some texture added using a scoreboard and a white die cut sentiment was the finishing touch. I find it so interesting working out different ways of using the self same image.
The white card used is all the same shade IRL but the card blank has a linen texture which I guess is why they look different in the picture.
Flower Stamp - daisy by Carabelle
This card brilliantly showcased the spotlight technique. Love it Val xxx
ReplyDeleteYour on a roll this week Val, another lovely floral CAS card. I have the same issue with whites showing on differently in photos.

You've made it look so different. A lovely CAS card.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, that spotlighted flower looks wonderful on this pretty CAS card! I like it!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Xx
ReplyDeleteLovely. I do like to be able to use stamps in several different ways. You have been very creative. Also a good idea to use the scoreboard like that for extra interest.
ReplyDeleteWow Val, this Carabelle flower has a really strong look with the added black/white circle as a spotlight and love the orange you used on the rest of the flower head. I notice that you used this on the last post too but with the smooshed and more grungy background keeping the flower totally without colour, another great way of using this pretty flower. Great of a friend to send you some stamped images to play with and you have made two super cards using them. x
