Time to visit the Snippets Playground for another challenge with a lovely prize to be won by one lucky person. I started with a white card snippet trimmed to fit onto a square card blank and stamped the coastal scene. More, smaller white snippers were used to die cut the seagulls and the 'Hello'. The wooden posts on which one seagull is perched were some scraps of stamped strips left over from a recent project. The word and the seagulls were all cut twice so that they could be layered up to give them a bit of substance. Stamping and colouring done using Distress Oxide inkpads.
Scene - stamps from Ocean Front set Stampin' Up
Seagulls - dies from Gummiapan
WOW - I love the coastal scene on your card Val.
ReplyDeleteThanks for submitting homework to the SNIPPETS PLAYGROUND. Come up to the treehouse to find out what illicit goodies I have inside my satchel while Miss Di isn’t looking! x
What a great snippets make once again! I love this by-the-sea scene with the gull sitting on the wooden posts and the pretty beach and ocean in the background. NJ on this one!
ReplyDeleteSuper scenic card . Hugs Mrs A.

I love this so much, it would look wonderful in a frame. I think the wooden posts are a genius addition to this fantastic scene.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very peaceful place to be Val, can almost hear the Gulls.
