The weeks do come around quickly and it is time for another visit to the Playground for the current challenge where Lesley is a guest designer with no less than three super cards for inspiration and to showcase the prize. My Snippets make this time is an Anniversary card which of course incorporates hearts, and birds. Apart from the card blank and the largest square layer, everything else came from my various Snippets boxes. Birds were stamped onto scraps of watercolour paper, coloured and die cut; the fancy heart was also die cut from a scrap of watercolour paper backed with another heart cut from a kraft card snippet. A couple of die cut scribbles and a stamped sentiment, together with a larger snippet of left over background paper and that's it - my entry for the challenge this time.
Design Paper - scrap left over from printout using a Chocolate Baroque CD
Birds - from Best Birds set Stampin' Up (retired I think)
Plain heart - from a set of Tonic dies
Decorative heart - die from Apple Blossom
Swirls - Swirly scribbles die set from Stampin' Up (also retired I think)
This is lovely. Gosh you have coloured those bird beautifully. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Val
ReplyDeleteA lovely anniversary card. Great layout and a fabulous way to use more of your snippets. Do you feel they are reducing yet?
The colouring of your birds is amazing. I thought they were pre-coloured toppers.
We have a wet day today too .. .. wet and miserable! Thank goodness we have crafty goodies to play with to brighten our day! Have a good one.
Love Jules xx
