I do enjoy a bit of colouring so I stamped these poppies onto white card and spent a quiet afternoon colouring them with pencils. The background paper was printed from a CD and the lace border, rectangle and sentiment were all produced from pieces of card in my snippets collection.
Background - printed from Artylicious Essenced of Nature CD
Poppies - stamp from Chocolate Baroque
Lace border - Sizzix die
Rectangle dies - Tonic
Sentiment - computer generated cut with punches from Stampin' Up
Colouring done with Polychromos pencils
This is stunning Val, you've coloured it perfectly.

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning image .. .. and so beautifully coloured too!
Thank you for your message on my latest blog post.
I am like you and very worried about the relaxation of the lockdown rules. It all feels rather rushed. Probably done to try and get the Dominic Cummings saga out of the headlines!!
Enjoy your weekend.
Love Jules xx
beautiful colouring. Not going to be rushing out here to go anywhere. Hair desperately needs sorting but I am keeping sun hat firmly on head at all times. I have a wig in cupboard somewhere which I will be donning if and when I do eventually Go out.!!hugs Mrs A.
