I've spent some time this morning making inserts for a few cards before pairing them up with envelopes ready to pop into my box of miscellaneous cards. I also had a much needed tidy up of the work-space and of course 'found' several bits and pieces left over from recent projects which will come in handy for making even more cards - and probably producing even more 'leftovers'. I came across this parchment card which just needed finishing off and I'm not sure why it was abandoned half completed. The lace work was completed first, followed by the floral motif which is a separate piece of parchment - couldn't resist popping a spare butterfly into the corner.

ReplyDeleteHi Val,
ReplyDeletewhat a very stunning card and your work looks so very wonderfully created.
The colours are so pretty and that lece broder looks amazing and so super.
I take my hat off to anyone that can make parchment cards they are so time consuming and you must have the patience of a saint.
I tried it and am too heavy handed.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
This is gorgeous Val, I love the colours you've used. I'm just beginning to get into this Goovi parchment.

This is so pretty, I love the colours. Parchment gives a beautiful look. It's not something I've ever tried and daren't start! I like the lacy border.
ReplyDeleteHi Val
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous and so intricate.
I have lots of patience but don't think it would quite stretch this far!! I would be far too gutted if I made a mistake 5 minutes from the end of completing it!!
