A Vintage Journey

I discovered a new (to me anyway) blog from reading posts by the lovely and talented Jenny whose blog I follow regularly.  It is called A Vintage Journey and as it seems ages since I played around with inks, masks and so on I decided to produce something inspired by her excellent tutorial.  I love all things 'Tim Holtz' and my wish list for Ranger products keeps on growing although I do have quite a selection anyway.  Basically her tutorial showed ways of making backgrounds using masks and stencils - me being me I seem to have covered up quite a lot of mine but I expect you get the idea (should have used a smaller image). The current challenge is ALL ABOUT HIM and I do happen to know a man who studies dragonflies, damsel flies and so on.

Various masks - Tim Holtz, Ranger
Stamps - Stampers Anonymous Classic Favourites and Simple Sayings
Distress Inks - Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire
Number plate sticker - Tim Holtz
Tattered Banner die - Tim Holtz strip die

  3. Fab entry to the challenge Val. I love the artwork the team show over on A Vintage Journey even though I've not had chance to join in yet. I love the image you used as your focal point and have had that set on my wish list seemingly for ever, lol!
