Each time I see the latest tag from Tim Holtz I think that I must try the technique but so often never actually get around to it - roads being paved with good intentions and all that!! However I have at last had a go with his latest one for September 2013 and you can find it HERE if you want to see. Of course I never have all the same stencils or stamps which he uses but I've made do with what I have, even down to making my own chit chat stickers. This was fun and now I have to scrub my hands again to bring them back to their normal colour.
I hope you are all having a good weekend and that the horrible weather forecast for tomorrow doesn't cause anyone too much bother - could be a good excuse to stay indoors and play.
What a great take on this months tag Val, I love the colours. I a day playing while the weather is horrid, is just what the Doctor ordered.

This looks super with all the layers & I love the way the ribbon matches the pattern & colours of the tag itself.

You've done a great job here Val. Love the blend of each element. Hugs, Jenny x
ReplyDeleteI intended leaving a comment on this yesterday Val but must have got waylaid somewhere along the line. I decided to follow your link to Tim's tag to see what you were emulating and then something must have stopped me coming back.
ReplyDeleteI think you have done a fantastic job and your tag is brilliant. Loving all the layers and the colours are great. Well done for getting a tag done too.
