The Male Room challenge #4

The theme this time on the Male Room challenge is SPORTS OR HOBBIES and there are some interesting takes on this with the design team cards, well worth a look if you are stuck for ideas for male cards.  I decided to use a Boofle image - he is a photographer here - and I've used matching backing papers and added a few die cut buttons (Sizzix die from Stampin' Up).  The zig zag strips were cut using a Spellbinder borderability die.

  1. A gorgeous card Val, I love the backing paper you've used and the embossing folder, a great idea to cut out some of the buttons and use them as embellishments. I must try to take part this time, but I've been busy trying to get wedding invitations made (wedding is on 1st March 2014).

  3. Morning Val, thanks for your blog visit this morning. Love your card today and what a nice change photography makes to the usual darts, beer drinking or golf, cricket and fooball! Love the zig zag strips and buttons!

  5. This is very clever - it took me quite a while to realise that the background embossed piece isn't covered with smileys but buttons!!! Superbly effective & I had a real laugh at myself as well.
