House Mouse in the Rain

I'm sure this House Mouse is enjoying his cool shower - just the thing while the weather is so hot.  Matching backing paper was used and the image was cut out using a label die from Stampin' Up (Sizzix framelit) with a largerone in a similar colour with pricking detail using a matching template.  This was then popped onto an embossed Top Note die shape and finished off with a Marianne corner, greeting and some flowers with Memory Box die cut leaves. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and take care in the extreme heat.

    I do like this combination of colours - especially with those very deep plum flowers. Very hot here in Brecon - it's taken me an hour to water 6 terraces, one rockery, two lawns & three & a half borders. not to mention an Acer & a Magnolia tree.........desperately trying to keep them some semblance of green!

    Your colour combinations are always perfect Val and mice imagery gets me every time. Its a lovely card and I could have done with copying the little fella yesterday because I found the heat much to much. I am keeping my fingers crossed today stays much cooler as it is very dull here so far ;D.

    A wonderful card with such a pretty colour combination! I love the sunshine I have to say, but when it gets too hot, a cool shower like house mouse is enjoying can be tempting!
