Forgotten Friday challenge

I've used up more of the pieces of left over Funky Hand papers  for this card and it will also qualify for Judith's Forgotten Friday challenge because the stamps used are from a Nit Wits set which came free with a magazine a few months ago and although I really liked them at the time they'd not even been out of the packet until now. They were coloured using Coloursoft pencils and cut out with Nestabilities - the flower and cotton reel were cut with scissors and a bit of faux stitching has been added in places for added interest.

The weather has gone suddenly from shivering to sweltering and takes a bit of getting used to but I hope it is nice where you are and that you enjoy the weekend.

  1. A lovely card Val, the backing paper looks so different on the this card than on the one you posted earlier this week. Know what you mean about the weather, last sunday I was sat with a thick jumper on thinking of putting the heating on, and then it's like you can't get the control to work to turn it down. Still I should'nt moan it might not last long, at least we can dust the BBQ off this year.

  3. I have to say I agree with Sue above - how utterly different the paper looks on this one.
It's been very warm here in the Beacons - a bit too warm for my liking.

  4. A fab card Val, great colours and a really cute image. It's far too hot for me I'm afraid. I just run out of steam in the heat, and I get migraines as well :( However, I hate being cold as well! Thanks so much for making a FF project this week, I have been up to my eyeballs in DT commitments, and it has had to take a back seat I'm afraid. Hopefully this coming week will be quieter.
