As well as my great nephew having a birthday next week, two granddaughters have theirs on the following day and one of them is 21.  I've not seen her for years so I'm not really sure what her tastes are - I do hope she likes the card I've come up with.  I used an image from Papermania Tulip range, cut out with Spellbinder dies, added a floral border and a printed sentiment keeping everything fairly flat because it has to be posted.

Backing Paper - discontinued one from Stampin' Up
Image - Tulip and Friends CD from Docraft
Layers - Spellbinder labels four dies
Numbers - X-cut dies on Cuttlebug shapes
Border - EK Success punch
Sentiment - Computer printed , Stampin' Up punch
Card Candi - Craftwork Cards

  1. A gorgeous card Val, I love the die cuts you've used for this one and the colours.

  2. I am sure your Granddaughter will love her card Val its lovely...a very suitable image for a 21 year old...

  3. Love the colour combo Val and the way the dies are inset, very effective. Great image too for a 21 yr old.

  4. Great design Val, I think it will do perfectly, love your previous post also and we did need the sun even more today, weather has been horrible. Flora xx

  5. Beautiful card Val. The colour combo and dies you used are perfect for this card. Hugs Rita xxx

  6. Very pretty card Val your granddaughter can't fail to love it!

  7. Your image made me smile - I'm sure it will be well received. I like the way your pink card candi echoes the floral border along the bottom providing a right angle corner taking the line down from the candi which is then balanced by the '21' panel - hard to describe but very effective visually.
