Can't Stop!

Even though I probably don't need any more Christmas cards for this year, I can't seem to stop making them 🤣.  I have such a lot of seasonal crafty stash and also other items which can easily be adapted.  Ideas just keep popping into my head and off I go, yet another Christmas design materialises. Mentally going through my stash I realised that everyone's favourite bunny hadn't been out to play recently so having decided he should feature, I then tried to think of other items which could work with him and - Hey Presto - he's donned his little Santa hat.  For the scene I die cut the trees out of a piece of white card which fits nicely on a 5" x 7" card, backing it with a piece of design paper.  I then added a branch for him to perch on and he's chatting to a robin friend.  Some winter foliage was added for extra interest and a stamped sentiment.  Now then what am I going to bring into use for the next card???🤔

Who needs AI when you have a selection of dies, stamps, paper and card 😉

Background - paper printed using a Buddly Crafts download
Trees and Branch - dies from Aspen Tree (retired) Stampin' Up
Bunny - unbranded die
Santa Hat - die which was a free gift from Gummiapan
Robin - die from Craft Addiction UK
Foliage - a Sizzix die set which I've had for some years
Sentiment - stamp from Contempo Christmas Stampin' Up (retired)

  1. He’s made a lovely festive bunny with the addition of the Santa hat. Great Christmas card with the other die cuts xxx

  2. What a fun and imaginative design Val - completely adorable! I’m still under some pressure on the Christmas card front, though things are looking a lot better now than they did even a couple of weeks ago!! xx

  3. Love it Val, bunny looks very happy chatting to the Robin. I’m hoping to carry on making more, as I ended up rushing to get cards in the post again! I’m tempted to write them all for next year too 😂xx

  4. And now our favourite bunny has a Robin friend, lovely composition with all the elements.

You'll have a good stock for next year Val. I got into the habit of making most of my Christmas cards December through February as as by the end of C&C's Christmas in July I was fed up with them. Found it was nice to be prepared and then just make the odd ones for fun during the year.

then just a few extras as I see inspiration during the year

  5. I think when you are on a roll you need to just go with it! There's no harm in being prepared for next year! It's a lovely mix of dies and the Santa hat suits bunny very well.
