I've made a card for my brother as my entry to the Snippets Challenge this time around. Snippets were used for the boats, rocks and grasses and the odd piece of fencing and scrap of bunting were lying around on my desk so I added them to the mix. A great two part prize is on offer so why not use up some of your snippets and have a go. The sea and sand were stamped onto a piece of white card with a sentiment added at the bottom. Rocks were stamped and fussy cut. I came across the odd scrap of bunting after the card was made but thought the addition of this might give the whole thing the look of a Summer regatta
Stamps - mix from various sets, mostly retired Stampin' Up.
It certainly does look like a summer regatta Val. Lovely use of snippets on this scenic card.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Here you go - I've made you a nice tall glass of Sarngria. I heard it's thirsty work playing hopscotch all afternoon! xxx
Love your regatta scene, clever how you used the sea stamp for the sand too, and a great way to use so many snippets. I still need to do my homework! Xxx
ReplyDeleteOh Val - what a great scene! How clever to use the same stamp for the ripples in the sand. And - I too have some bunting here. Sadly no children to make for with names of five letters - but I'll work around that one! Thanks for making my day, again! x
