I'm fluttering in with a card for the current Butterfly Challenge and this time Mrs A has come up with a very interesting lantern card design as inspiration. Unfortunately I've not managed to produce one of these cards but if you take a look at her blog you will see a great example and there is an excellent tutorial as well. Again I've just gone along with the colours of lemon, lilac and lawn green and included some lattice work as well.
Lattice - a very old die which has lost its packaging
Butterfly - fussy cut from Butterfly Bouquet DSP by Stampin' Up
Lovely card Val the colours match perfectly your background. The butterfly is gorgeous it certainly was a beautiful pack of DSP.

Fabulous card, Val. I think the die is an All Occasions ‘Trellis Corner’ die. It looks the same as one I used on a card back in 2016. I think it’s time to get mine out again! LOL! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Liz. What I didn't realise is that this die doesn't have an actual outer cutting edge even though it looks as if it has. Had to resort to scissors!
DeleteI used mine in a different way, so I didn’t need to cut it out.
