Home Decor

My Butterfly DSP arrived over the weekend and today I've fussy cut some butterflies from one of the sheets and used another of the pretty papers as a background to make up a box frame - a change from making loads of cards which I don't really need although no doubt I will carry on with cards because it is a thing I  enjoy.  Have to carry on really because no doubt you are aware that I have a mountain of scraps to use up as well as my regular stash items.

This was quite quick and simple to make, adding a die cut frame around the DSP because the box frame is slightly more than 6" square.  Also added white die cut butterflies, raised up over the coloured ones.  I think  that a white box frame would probably have been a better choice but unfortunately black is all I have at present.

  2. I think the frame makes the butterflies stand out nicely. That background paper is lovely isn’t it, so is the other side though, good job there are a few sheets of each.

I think I am going to nominate you as the Queen of fussy cutting!

Beautiful colours and I like the black frame. I hope you have it hanging on a wall somewhere. It is really lovely.
