Teacups

I'll give you a break from Christmas cards for today and share something different.  I came across the remnants of a card kit which came with a magazine and tried to think of a way of using up some of the bits and pieces.  There were some good size pieces of card with printed and foiled images and I selected one of them for the basis of the card, then used a teacup die to cut out three cups from some of the scraps.  The sentiment was also part of the kit and that was a fairly quick card to put together once I'd decided on how to use up the 'bits'.  I fancy it is an advantage having a fairly good memory for all the dies and stamp collections I've amassed from the magazine freebies over the years - mind you it does often take a while to actually find them 😄

  2. Hi Val

I love the colour palette you have used here and those beautiful teacups. They remind me of some my great Aunt used to have when we were children.

    Love Jules xx

  5. I know the feeling! I can spend longer searching for the stamps/dies that are in my stash than acutally make the card up. This card is lovely in all those pastel shades. Now I do know that I have two different digis of stacked tea cups on my computer.I am about to make a mug rug for a swap and I need a teacup for the design I have in mind. I'd best start opening and shutting files then!!! Hugs Mrs A.

  6. A fantastic card Val. If only I could remember where I've put all of those lovely dies, so frustrating when you can't find the one you want.
