The Christmas Kickstart Challenge this time is Feline Christmas and after some thought I decided that as I had nothing specifically feline and Christmas I would combine a very old Christmas stamp (some 20 years old) with a couple of stray die cut cats which were sitting on my desk. The stamp is a wood mounted one - remember those?? - which I've certainly not used for a good while and it was coloured with watercolour Zig pens before die cutting the stitched rectangle, simply adding the two black cats. Some seasonal background and a greeting finishes off this simple card which will go into the box for later this year.

This is gorgeous and works beautifully! I always love to delve into my box of older stamps and rediscover past favourites. Thanks so much for playing again at The Christmas Kickstart Challenge, Jo x
ReplyDeleteIt's purr-fect! Your creative addition of the kitty die cuts look very natural around the lamp post. Lovely coloring and pretty background paper!

I still have a few wood mounted stamps too. Love how you have combined the cat cut outs with the lamppost to create this lovely card. Hugs Mrs A.
