Pixie Snippets Challenge #303and304

Well it's off to the playground again this morning with a Snippets card and this time I seem to have been raiding the blue box for most of the pieces - sad person that I am my snippets are sort of colour coded into plastic see through boxes!!  The background paper was an offcut from a larger piece used on a previous project and I 'found' a scrap of embossed card which was the right sort of size.  The images were stamped onto a circle before sorting out another larger piece to cut a blue scalloped circle and a little banner for the greeting.  The faux ric-rac was cut from another scrap of the blue pearlescent card using a die which if I remember rightly came as part of a free set, jolly useful die anyway.

There is a birthday in the playground this week (Best wishes Len) and Di has made a super card for him using some great froggy stamps which of course will be the prize on offer to a lucky winner in the draw.

Stamps - from High Tide set by Stampin' Up
Scalloped Circle - Tattered Lace die
Banner - Sue Wilson die
Ric-rac die - free from a set with a magazine I think

  1. Fantastic card Val. Trying hard to get back in to my crafting again. Hope you're well. Hugs Rita xxxx

  2. A beautiful card Val, I love the blues you've used. Well done for sorting your scraps into colour. I think I would run out of boxes and space if I done this.

  3. Fabulous card, Val. The image is lovely and the background you've created is perfect. I'm pretty sad too - I've got a stack of drawers, one drawer for each colour of snippets. xx

  4. Great card, Val. Beautiful image and papers. Kisses, my friend.

  5. Love that image Val perfect with your papers and dies x

  6. Hi Val,
what a very super Snippets make.
Love that image and your wonderful design.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  7. Absolutely lovely Val - it's one stamp set I really wouldn't ever get rid of. I have a large home office folder thingy for my plain snippets - if I had that many bills to file I'd be seriously worried!

Lovely to see you in the Playground as well.

    Di xx

  8. This is a fantastic design, Val! Great for a guy and great use of snippets! BTW, I, too, store my snippets by color!! Hugs, Darnell
