Sometimes You Just Need an Umbrella

We've had a few 'umbrella days' recently although I think this lady would have needed more than a floaty dress to keep warm and dry with the windy conditions.  The image has  been paper pieced by stamping onto different coloured papers and cutting out the dress and umbrella with scissors before sticking them in place.  Skin detail was done using alcohol pens.  I used the same paper for the background as for the dress then simply added an embossed border and a greeting. While I had all the bits around I made a second card with dress and umbrella in opposite papers - I will probably post this another day.

Image - from Beautiful You set by Stampin' Up
Papers - free ones from a magazine
Border - Embossing folder from Crafter's Companion
Greeting - free stamp on stitched shape die cut from Stampin' Up
Rectangles - Spellbinders dies
