Poppies

I've chosen poppies for Pixie Snippets challenge this week and again apart from the background everything else was produced from snippets around my craft room.  I stamped the poppies in white onto kraft card and embossed with white detail powder before colouring with pencils (Polychromos). More layers were cut from various scraps to tone with the background; sentiment was computer generated and popped onto some die cut shapes; finally a snippet of leafy die cut and some matching card candi were added - why is it my snippets pile never seems to get any smaller???

    Beautiful card Val - I just love how the colouring of those gorgeous poppies matches the background so perfectly! Hurrah for Polychromos pencils :)

    Beautiful Val, I love the colouring on to the craft card. Your snippet pile might not get any smaller, but mine just grows as I don't use the snippits enough.
