Make My Monday

At last I've actually managed to make a card this week - is it really Thursday already?? This week is the final one on Make My Monday with an autumn theme and we have been asked to use supplies - RIBBON AND BUTTONS.  Backing paper is an odd piece which I thought was just right, sorry I can't remember where it came from as it was in the oddments box along with the scraps of card used to complete the rest of the design.  Stamp used was a freebie from Craft Stamper ages ago, coloured with Copics; ribbon was a matching scrap and the flowers and buttons were Papermania ones, also bought ages ago. I won't get much done at home tomorrow either because it is our craft group meeting and then we are going out for a pre Christmas lunch - this just happens to be a restaurant within the local craft shop so maybe some retail therapy will be on the cards too.

  6. Gorgeous card Val. The owl is so cute and looks lovely with the textured background. I recognise that paper too but the make is eluding me (I know I saw it in The Range a while back).
Thanks for sharing your lovely creation with us at MMM this week.

  12. Oh I remember that owl - at one the only Sugar Nellie stamp I possessed so I used him for every challenge until I won some! Love these colours & the way those heart shapes in the patterned paper pick up on the hearts on owl's front. Hope you had a wonderful time.

  16. Ahhh! Love that little owl Val! I can't remember him but I must have him in my Craft Stamper freebie box. Love the backing paper too and if I weren't so lazy I could go and find the pad that it comes from 'cos I have it, lol! The colours co-ordinate perfectly on your beautiful card. Hope the lunch and retail therapy went down well ;D
