Tangling
Still not managed to work out how to add a new post to a tabbed page but I've added a bit more ZIA to my Zentangle page. When I see them enlarged on the screen it is a bit scary because I can see every 'wobble' and some poor filling in both of which are less evident on the small page of the original. I must try and slow down a bit and take more care with my lines although the hand isn't as steady as it was in my younger days . I have tried the white card recommended by Paula (thanks for sharing the results of the tests on various papers and pens) and the solid areas do seem easier to execute than they were on my original sketch book paper.

I'm glad you found it useful - I certainly learnt rather a lot during the process. I love the dynamics of the piece you've added & the way you have that heart shape over the top. The two bottom corners look very interesting indeed - I particularly like that in the left corner. I know what you mean about it being a bit scary close up though - I have the same feeling when I see my photo on the screen when uploading.

Your extra Zentangles are fab Val, it's hard not to be critical of your own work, isn't it? The odd wobble shouldn't be a cause for concern, I know that I've had to slow down, as I was rushing my drawings as well. I used some pricey watercolour paper today, and the ink smudged. I much prefer the thinner paper that I was using before. Judith xx
