Blue Swirl Bracelet

I really must apologise for my lack of blogging this past week but yet again the time has whizzed by.  The weather has been beautiful and I've had to spend time in the garden mowing the lawns and generally tidying things up a bit which has left very little time for craft things.  I did take some beading along to the local craft meeting and tried another of the ideas from Bead and Button Magazine - this has been adapted slightly to join the motifs with jump rings instead of joining in a long thread and stitching them all together .In place of the crystals in the original  I  used some beads available in the local shop where I am demonstrating  but all in all I'm quite pleased with the result and it will be another thing to show on my table. I must also apologise if I've not commented as much as usual but I 'lost' my Blog List from the sidebar a couple of times - it is back now thank goodness and I do hope it doesn't disappear again.  I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem?  Hopefully I will manage to make some cards this week - I'd better or I will forget how!!

  4. The swirly elements are quite delightful & I love the way you adapt - those jump rings look far more effective than I'd imagine sewn joining to be.
