The good people at MMM this week are looking for a CAS (clean and simple) Christmas card with emphasis on the wording and plenty of 'white space'. Those who know me will be aware that this isn't really my style but I'm always prepared to have a go so I've used two stamps from Chocolate Baroque steampunk Christmas set stamped with Versamark and embossed with Ranger Queens Gold. It was so hard to resist adding a bit more of something in the wide open spaces. I carefully cleaned the scanner glass (twice) before I got a clean image and now I see there is a tiny mark at the bottom which isn't on the card - honest!! Do go and take a look at the great cards from the design team.
This is beautiful Val. Love the gold and the steampunk element is an added original touch to a lovely creation.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this beauty with us at MMM and wishing you lots of luck (very quick off the mark too!)
Hugs, Fliss xx
A beautiful clean and simple card - thanks for joining in at MMM again this week - have you seen we are having a DT Call, there's only one day left to take part - Jacqueline xx
ReplyDeleteIt may not be your style Val, but you've done it very well. This is a super unfussy card, it would be ideal to send to those male relatives that are so awkward.
