Forgotten Friday 38

Friday again already and time for something for Judith's Forgotten Friday challenge.  During my recent efforts to have a bit of a sort out of my stash I came across a box with a selection of stamped and/or digi stamp images some of which I'd coloured and some not so I decided to use one of the coloured ones for the challenge as I'd completely forgotten what was in the box - what am I like??  I thought these birds (a digi image from Pollycraft coloured with Copic pens)) would make a cute 'congratulations' card - background paper from my stash has had a border added with a fineline pen, a Martha Stewart punched border was added along with a couple of punched flowers. A friend had commented that she thought my cards had been a bit dark of late so I hope she likes this brighter one (you know who you are)!!

  1. Hi Val, you are right, this is a cheery image. It was raining when I got up this morning, but we now have bright sunshine. This card fits the bill perfectly. Great colouring by the way, and love the finishing touches, the dooling and the heart border. Thanks for joining in FF, Judith xx

  3. Ah, this is a sweet, happy looking image Val and pretty cheery colours too. We've had a bit of sunshine midday but most of it has been rain :(

  4. A beautiful bright cheery card Val. Unlike the weather, it's rained here virtually all day, and when it wasen't, it looked like it was going to.

  5. Great fun the way you've used the floral & striped patterns of your papers to create a "grounding" base element for your card design. I like the open heart border echoing the open hearts of the fence too - plus the solid ones above the two birds.
