Goodness don't the Fridays come around quickly - I swear someone has seriously shortened all my days but I wish they'd asked my permission first. Anyway I've managed to make a card for Judith's Forgotten Friday challenge using a stamp from Cuddly Buddly which I used quite a lot when I first bought it but can't say she's seen the light of day for some months now. I fished her out to get back into the swing of colouring using alcohol based markers because if I don't keep practising I find my colouring suffers. A mix of Flex, Promarkers and Copics were used to get the colours I wanted and the image was cut using a Nestabilities label, then mounted onto a Sizzix die cut shape from Stampin Up. The buttons were cut using another Sizzix die (SU). Background paper is from my stash - stamped around the edge using a faux stitch stamp (Chocolate Baroque). The paper and also the ribbon have been in my stash for ages so they qualify as well - the greeting was a free download popped onto Cuttlebug die cut shapes.
She's a real cutie Val...I have this little lady stashed away somewhere! Love your colouring of her and your button die looks great.

Great colouring Val, I know what you mean about needing to keep practising with markers. I soon get rusty with my Copics. Love the bright and cheery colour scheme that you have picked here. Thanks for joining in FF again this week, Judith xx
ReplyDeleteI love the look of those buttons. Your soft pastel colours are very effective too, especially with the yellow accenting. I know what you mean about keeping practising - wonder if I'll remember how to make a card when I finally get round to it again. My week got stolen too - that time stealing imp is gadding about rather at present. Have a good weekend.
