I was clearing my work space yet again) and came across this stamped image (from Fantastic Florals by Chocolate Baroque) which I'd coloured using Polychromos pencils so decided to make it into a card rather than store it away. Background paper is an odd piece from my bit box and I also used some whitewash core-d-nations card embossed with a leafy design (cuttlebug folder) and sanded to reveal the coloured core. A ribbon to cover the join, a sentiment produced on the computer and that's it really,
What a lovely colourful card Val...love the images and of course the lovely whitewash backing paper.

Glorious colours - & I love that orange ribbon & the way it picks out the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteChasing my tail with homework, builders, comments & had to rearrange my craft shelving to get my pencils organized so I could get to them in one place easily. Nice problem to have though - no complaining just grateful.

A lovely colourful card Val. It's reminded me that I have the stamps on my worktop waiting to be used. Better do it soon or they will qualify for a Friday project LOL.

Wow this is beautiful Val and such a versatile stamp. Check out no 70 on Less is More and Beryl has used the same stamp but it looks like a woodcut using one colour. Yours is so pretty and the embossed coredinations card is gorgeous:)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Val I love the bright colours and that backing paper is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm struggling to keep up at the moment with homework, housework and our daughter being home just now as I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with her before she leaves again in a couple more weeks. The next time she will be home is Christmas
