Birthdays are Good for You

The stamp used on this card is one of a set from Elusive Images and one of my favourites - when people say to me that they don't like getting old I always say that I reckon it is preferable to the alternative!!  Background paper is from  Artylicious Echoes of Italy and I made a frame using Nestabilities and simply added ribbon, a couple of swirls and a few flowers which I think have produced a cheerful effect to counteract the dull dark days although the sun did actually make a brief appearance yesterday and the sky this morning looks promising too.

  1. I do like your nesties and they make a lovely shaped frame for a sentiment, simple and classy.

  4. Hi, what a lovely collection of cards, and I'm (green)envious of your super collection of EI stamps. I wondered if you would like me to put this particular card in one of my FFG posts. I cannot think how you have done the embossed border on the inside edge of the frame. Please tell. Hope to hear from you. ikki
