When I saw the challenge this week at Bah Humbug I thought 'easy' - not so because I discovered that I am more or less 'crackerly challenged'. I searched through stamps, digi images and several CDs before I eventually came across this image on the Joanna Sheen Messy Rabbit Christmas CD. I reduced the size of the image and printed it several times so that I could cut out elements to make a decoupage topper. Background paper is from the same CD; sentiment is a Crafts Too embossing folder on Core-dinations card and sanded with an emery board; I've also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, a Marianne fancy corner die and added a flower which was amongst the items in the prize received from the lovely ladies at Bah Humbug for taking part in every challenge last year.
Adorable image Val...Love your new corner die also it just completes your card.

oh Val you star - this is gorgeous. Sounds like you did the same as me - I really can't believe there are so few stamps with crackers on. Well done you for finding this and producing a fab card.

Hi great card. Never thought of that image. What a cracker!! I spent hours last night looking to make mine. just going to set to and finish it now. Hugs x ChrisB
ReplyDeleteHa! Ha! this is great Val! I felt real sympathy for all you Bah Humbuggers when I saw what the challenge was this week because I know for a fact that I have absolutely nothing with crackers on, not papers, stamps or anything. For once I was glad I haven't time to enter as I'm up to my ears in wedding makes at the moment. Love your take on the challenge.

Well Val ... you may have been 'Crackerly-Challenged' at first but you came through with a fab result. So pleased you didn't throw your hands up in dispair 'cos we'd've missed out on this lovely card. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
