The Bah Humbug challenge for this week is to use stencils in any way we like and it wasn't until I was looking through my box of stencils that I realised just how many of these I actually have as well as pricking templates and so on - some of which haven't seen the light of day for ages. This brass stencil is from Papermania and I've embossed it in the Big shot onto white pearl card and then glittered using a Quickie glue pen; this was layered onto white glitter card and black card for the monochrome effect with some Papermania background paper and ribbon with the added touch of a few crystals for a bit of bling.
Well how strange that we have both made a monochrome card and used trees....lovely card Val.

Hi Val ... amazing what we all have tucked away in wee cubby holes that we didn't remember having lol!
ReplyDeleteThe tree looks beautiful embosed on pearl card which will give it a lovely sheen. Loved those papers when they were first released and still have a few left - they're great for monochrome themes. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
