Miaow

A change from flowers today. This cat image has been highlighted by stamping twice, then removing one eye with a circle punch and colouring green, layered over the top of the image. No cats were harmed in the making of this card!!!

This Stamp - Again

This time I stamped using Versamark pad and applied chalks using cotton wool. The frame is made using nestabilities, as is the message tag. I love these tags - so useful. Background paper is from Artylicious and an inked and embossed swirl was added (Tim Holtz grungeboard inked with Adirondack dye ink).

Another technique

Thanks for 'watching this space'! Here is another way to use this Hobby Arts flower stamp. This time I stamped on black card with Versamark, painted all over with copper acrylic paint and once dry, rubbed off some of the paint (using an alcohol-free baby wipe) to reveal the image.

Making Stamps Work

I decided to choose one of my stamps and try to use it in as many different ways as I could think of. For this card I have stamped with Versafine ink and embossed, coloured in using felt tip pens with a waterbrush and decoupaged the main flower. Watch this space for more variations!!

You Wait for Ages...

...and then three come along at once!!
I tried some masking to come up with this card - always short of ideas for men, particularly something not sport related. Stamps are by Hero Arts.

Here is a notebook (A6 size) using mountboard for the covers. Direct to paper colouring and stamping using Versamagic and Colourbox fluid chalk ink pads - stamps are from a clear set by Laura Ashley.

Cute Bird

This jolly bird is another image downloaded from Charmed Cards and Craft and he has been coloured using watercolour pencils and a water brush. I added some card embossed with cuttlebug swiss dots folder and used an Xcut punch for the flowers
