Cheerful Cat

Well I did manage to escape from the house yesterday after been trapped inside by icy roads around my house and this morning most of the snow seems to have disappeared to be replaced by a grey foggy morning. This cheerful card made for a cat lover should counteract a bit of the greyness today. Images are from Polkadoodles Back to Nature collection and the greeting slider is a nestabilities die cut - the cat is cut out and layered.

Dragonfly

Well I've managed to get away from the pink phase with a dragonfly card. Background is pearl card embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and a strip from my 'bit box' which is watercolour paper, masked and sprayed with Glimmer Mists. Dragonflies are from Wings and Flowers.

A Challenge

Craftwork Cards have launched a new challenge on their blog using the letters of their name and various items from their product range. The first letter being C they asked us to use their card candy to embellish a card. The image on this card is a digital one from Pollycraft which I've coloured using Copic pens which were also used to colour some white card candy to match. Background paper is from Stampin Up.

Sunbonnet Sue

I thought this Sunbonnet Sue card would be suitable to send to someone who is interested in patchwork. The image was manipulated using My Craft Studio to get the two girls facing each other and this and the flowers have been layered up. The greeting was made using a Stampin Up stamp and oval scallop punch.

Bah Humbug

This card is for challenge number one on this new blog called Bah Humbug. The idea this time is to use something recycled from Christmas and I 'rescued' the tartan and gold card from the Christmas crackers. (I must say my daughter and her other visitors thought it was me who was crackers!!). The background paper is from my stash, the image is a digi stamp coloured with Copic pens and the greeting is sort of recycled in that I made it for a card before Christmas and then realised I needed a cream greeting and this one was white so it was put into the oddments box!

Love Theme

Challenge 28 at Moving Along With the Times gave us a sketch to follow and the theme of love. I've used the free stamp again from Craft Stamper and I'm afraid it is another pink card - I will try to get away from pink next time! Papers are from Artylicious, love stamp from Elusive Images and I used cuttlebug embossing on some card sprayed with Glimmer mists.

Free Heart Stamp

I do like a bargain and the super free stamp designed by Glenda Waterworth and given away with Craft Stamper this month is certainly that! I've used it with some Artylicious paper, other paper from my stash, a Martha stewart border punch and yet more die cut shapes using Nellie dies.
