Playground Challenge #397

I'm taking another 'Chick' card along to the Playground for this challenge, mainly because I've used lots of miscellaneous snippets to stamp and cut the various elements of this farmyard scene.  Mind you they are mostly very small pieces so not much of an impact made on the scrap boxes.  There is the usual lovely card from Di showcasing the prize this time - a great stamp set.

For my card I've gone for a DL format and simply built up a scene using the various elements, adding a die cut birthday sentiment.  I do enjoy building up little scenes so this was a fun card to make.

Stamps - Hey Chick from Stampin' Up with matching dies
Fence and Tree - dies from Sizzix
Sentiment - die from Joanna Sheen

  1. Another stunner using these chicks Val. I love it.

  2. Brilliant card Val it made me smile

  3. Love your card, Val. What a fun little scene you've created. xx

  4. Just love how you built up this fun scene Val! Xxx

  5. Your card just made me smile and the little scene you have created and the card in the post below. Just about getting back on my feet now.last week left me with a constant runny nose and so tired. Still the after affects of the vaccine I think as several people have reported having flu l8ke symptoms about 6 to 8 days later. I hope you are ok. Hugs Mrs A.

  6. Hi Val

A great little scene .. .. it looks a fun stamp set.

    Love Jules xx

  7. Brilliant chicken courtyard scene Val. I love this one too. xxx

  8. Love the scene Val, a great card. Being good and using the scrap box never seems to make a dent does it?!

  9. What a super card Val - a lovely scene and so well suited to a slimline card. I have the original Hey Chick set of stamps - but the additions as well as the dies are so tempting!
