Honey Bee

A beautiful sunny day today although of course it is quite chilly.  I have a sunny card to share today which was made a little while ago before I got into the seasonal ones.  I started with some background paper which had bees and honeycomb design, die cut some circles and then added the sentiment (using the Misti of course) and a beehive and bee.  Finished with a simple sentiment and a piece of matching ribbon.

Background - paper which came free with a magazine
Stamps - Honeybee set from Stampin' Up with matching dies
Sentiment - computer generated, punched with Stampin' Up punches (retired now I think)

  1. Love the semi-circular sentiment. Great beehive card.

    Hugs, Sarn xxx

  2. Hi Val,
oh that is a very wonderful card and I love your design.
The paper is brilliant and I love that gorgeous Bee.
I do love a bit of Honey and always keep it in my cupboard for use in a drink or cereal.
I at the moment have some lovely Honey from abroad which was given to my Daughter's fiance by a fellow worker as his family keeps Bees and my it so much more tasty than what you buy in the shop and it doesn't crystallise either.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  3. Beautiful card, Val. The backing paper is perfect for your lovely design. xx

  4. A super bee card. I do have some bee paper in my stash somewhere. Hugs Mrs A.

  5. I'm reading this on Friday and the sunny day has turned into a rainy day, but your card really brighten's it for me Val. It's beautiful.

    Sue xx

  6. Hi Val
